Somatic Trauma Therapy is a talking therapy that focuses on the connection between mind and body, centred around the philosophy that trauma is a function of the nervous system and is stored in the body as well as the mind. Through a combination of talking and physical movements and excercises, Somatic Trauma Therapy aims to release trauma from your muscle memory. This treament is ideal for people with PTSD or any other historical trauma, especially those who have tried traditional forms of counselling without success.
