Beryl previously spent 15 years as a mentor and counsellor in London primary schools, and has undertaken advanced training in cultural and race-related issues, as well as sexual and gender identities. As well as a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, focussing on Psychodynamic and Person-Centered therapy, she is also qualified as a surpervisor for trainee therapists.
In Beryl’s own words:
“As a qualified Integrative counsellor, my aim is to support you in your journey of what has led you to counselling at this point in your life. within our counselling sessions, I will work at your pace, supporting you to share only what you are comfortable with. During our work there may be occasions where I gently challenge you, this is to encourage you to think from another perspective. I adopt a variety of skills and techniques in my work with clients.”
